The hottest planet in the solar system

Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system and the second planet in distance from the sun . It is the sixth largest planet of solar system . Venus is the only planet in the solar system to turn clockwise , all other planets to turn anti -clockwise . The planet is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty . After the sun and moon Venus is the brightest object in the sky , and usually called " Morning star " or " Evening star " . Venus does not have any moon and it is also called a sister planet of Earth due to similar size . Venus rotates on its axis slowly than any other planet once 243 days , Venus time to orbit the sun is 224 days , Venus is surrounded with Sulphuric acid droplets, the atmosphere is almost carbon dioxide which increases temperature to 480 C / 900 F , the first spacecraft to visit Venus was [Mariner 2] in 1962 , mass of Venus is 4.87 x 10 -24 kg.
