World smallest bird

The Bee Hummingbird (Mellisuga helenae) is the smallest living bird in the world with a length of 5-6 cm and a weight of 2 to 16 grams. The hummingbirds are mostly found in Cuba. Average lifespan of hummingbird is 5 years and average wingspan is 1.28 inches or 3.25 cm. The hummingbird is a only a bird that can fly both forward and backwards. The female hummingbirds are usually large than male hummingbirds.
